The Labyrinth: An Interfaith Tool for Transformation
Session Description:
Personal and planetary transformation requires not just logical right action, but also intuition and the ability to follow inner guidance from our connection to the divine, as we define it. What is required is not only people of conscience but people who are adept at traversing the paths of both inner and outer transformation. The labyrinth, a form of walking meditation, is a spiritual, psychological, and embodied archetypal practice which can be used to enhance our work in the interfaith movement. In this session, learn about the labyrinth: its history and meaning; its inclusive, cross-cultural, and unifying aspects; its variety of uses; how to find your local labyrinth (or make one); how to use the labyrinth yourself, in your place of worship, service, work, or community; and hear from leaders in the labyrinth community about the power of the labyrinth.
