The Peacemakers in Action: Profiles in Religious Peacebuilding
Session Description:
The Tanenbaum Center for Interreligious Understanding has been identifying, highlighting, and rewarding grassroots, faith-motivated activists since 1998 through its Peacemakers in Action Award. As part of the award, Tanenbaum shares the personal stories and peacebuilding techniques of these inspiring individuals through individual case studies. In this session, Tanenbaum presents the evolution of the case study model it has been working with for more than a decade, and participants hear from both Tanenbaum staff and members of the Peacemakers in Action Network themselves. Tanenbaum has published two volumes of Peacemakers in Action case studies and recently launched its first season of the Peacemakers in Action podcast.
