In May of 2020 following the murder of George Floyd, Reverend Mark Koyama first envisioned a series of quilts sewn in churches across the New Hampshire Conference of the United Church of Christ. The quilts became a reality Together with the documentary Stitch Breathe, Speak, they inspire potentially transformative Sacred Conversation between people who might never talk about race and racism. Reverend Koyama and Doctor Ward, the Sacred Allies in this ministry, invite visitors into A Sacred Conversation to End Racism.
