The Ventura County Interfaith Friendship Project: A Case Study in Local Community Building
Session Description:
In this case study of a county-wide interfaith community-building effort, the presenters describe the Ventura County Interfaith Friendship Project which, following an interfaith mixer, formed four short-term groups of around eight individuals who met for five weeks to build friendships. The co-leaders of the project discuss the strategies employed, the project outcomes, what went well with the project, and things that they would do differently were they to revisit the project. Following the presentation, the presenters welcome relevant questions and comments.
