The Vegan Museum opened on February 1, 2017 the first such museum in the country (probably in the world). It consists of 12 hinged wood panels and a TV screen on a stand with noted author/speaker Victoria Moran giving a 5-minute presentation on vegetarian history. Our panels cover: Health, Environment, Animals; Our Rich & Deep History: The Ancient World, Chicago 1800s, The Bread Shop; Being Part of a Vibrant Community: Famous Vegetarians, Locals & National Organizations. We have, so far, exhibited at over thirty different Chicago and suburban cultural institutions.
