From time immemorial, women of faith have embraced the sacred task of promoting, safeguarding, and serving their faith communities, even as they suffered under the yoke of oppression. Historically, women from diverse cultures have been ignored, deprived of an education, and relegated to positions of lower status! The “Women as Warriors” session explores the cycle of sexism and Internalized sexism and the intersectionality of racism and sexism. Participants engaging in experiential healing activities in a safe and brave space lead them to greater self-awareness relative to their power, nobility, and efficacy to build a better world.
