Every religion’s core call to action is to lessen other people’s suffering and help create a society that is fair, peaceful, and sustainable. Unfortunately, crimes against humanity, the repression of basic human rights, the undermining of democracies, and the dissemination of misleading information continue to exist in our society. This year’s Parliament of the World’s Religions’ call to conscience urges all people to unite in support of everyone’s dignity, freedom, and human rights. This webinar, therefore, seeks to bring together young people from different faiths to speak on the topic at hand, sharing the importance of how young people can utilize their power of conscience for good, enabling their peers to develop a greater understanding of human rights and citizenship, employing faith-based and interfaith perspectives to create a values-based approach towards creating a better world for all.
