In the spirit of Parliament of the World’s Religions’ Global Ethic document, we are happy to present programming celebrating Dr. Jane Goodall’s Leadership Legacy as a compassionate woman leader and a beacon of hope for planet earth. PoWR trustee, Dr. Nayana Shah will facilitate a set of three thought-provoking panels bringing together panelists spanning across different regions and generations, all doing inspiring and transformational work connected to Dr. Jane Goodall’s life message. Each panel will include time at the end to answer audience questions.

As part of this programming, essays weaving together key takeaways from the panel discussions with one’s lived experiences, perspectives and insights will be solicited to create a compilation. The idea will be to harvest collective insights and wisdom on themes of Dr. Jane Goodall’s legacy, women’s global and grassroots leadership, and community-engaged conservation.

Women, Ethics, and Climate Futures: Reflections on the Global Ethical Stocktake Dialogues
March 11 | 12:30 pm ET
This is a virtual interactive CSW70 session reflecting on the Global Ethical Stocktake, a COP30-linked dialogue process that explores the moral, cultural, and spiritual dimensions of collective decision-making on climate. The event feature panel reflections and facilitated small-group dialogue on responsibility, care, and climate action.
The event was moderated by Rev. Dr. Kara Markell with an introduction to the Global Ethical Stocktake by Samira Siddique. Panelists include Great Grandmother Mary Lyons, Kehkashan Basu, Jacqueline Patterson, and Dora Sugimoto. The dialogue is facilitated by Ann Smith.
