The Parliament of the World’s Religions unequivocally condemns the anti-Semitic attack carried out in Jersey City, New Jersey on Tuesday. December 10. The monstrous attack on a Kosher Deli in Jersey City resulted in the deaths of 4 victims, including one police officer.

The Parliament stands with the global Jewish community, the Jersey City community, and the victims affected by this terror attack.

On December 5th we brought together faith climate leaders from around the world for the first installment in a series of Global Conversations. Here are just a few of the things we learned through this experimental dialogue.

 Amber Burgin, Baptist Tradition: "One of my favorite professors once said, 'stewardship of the Earth is a symphony', and if there's a piece missing then the symphony is off. What a beautiful thing it is to do the work of stewardship together from an interfaith perspective as if we were an orchestra."

The Parliament is a global partner to grassroots organizations during the celebration of UN World Interfaith Harmony Week (WIHW).

The Cape Town Interfaith Initiative (CTII) is a thriving interfaith organization and long-time partner of the Parliament, which won the H.M. King Abdullah II prize for World Interfaith Harmony Week for 2019. In 2020, they are revolutionizing what it means to celebrate WIHW with a seven day tour of the interfaith spaces in and around Cape Town, South Africa.
