Global Interfaith Partners to Launch New Report Entitled “Faith Action on the UN Sustainable Development Goals”

August 26, 2020

On Monday, September 21, 2020 join Bhumi Global, the Parliament of the World’s Religions, UNEP Faith for Earth, and United Religions Initiative (URI) for the launch of our report, Faith Action on the UN Sustainable Development Goals: Progress and Outlook.

We face major sustainability challenges in the 21st Century. Fortunately, we have a unique opportunity to implement solutions at a global scale. The UN Sustainable Development Goals grew out of a pioneering idea to mobilize around a global framework for sustainability.

Faith-Based Organizations have made significant contributions, including in nature conservation, renewable energy, fossil fuel divestment, and sustainable agriculture.

This report details progress made by the Faith community toward the Sustainable Development Goals, and makes recommendations for achieving even greater impact.

Join us as we launch the report and hear from organizations around the world that were highlighted. For attendee convenience, two sessions will be hosted on September 21st at 11:00AM Eastern and 8:00PM Eastern.
