Interfaith Partners Publish “Faith Action on the SDGs: Life on Land”
This May the Parliament of the World’s Religions, UNEP Faith for Earth Initiative, United Religions Initiative, and the Yale Forum on Religion and Ecology published a second supplement in the series expanding the 2020 publication “Faith Action on the UN Sustainable Development Goals“. This supplement features data on faith-based organizations around the world doing work that fell within the scope of Goal 15 of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The supplement titled “Faith Action on the UN SDGs: Life on Land” is the second in a series of periodic reports that will highlight new and ongoing activities of faith-based organizations. This issue specifically showcases a sampling of inspiring efforts to protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems; sustainably manage forests; combat desertification; reduce and reverse land degradation; and halt biodiversity loss.
