Advancing Human Rights for South Asia’s Religious Minorities

Session Description:

A quarter of the world’s population lives in South Asia: the region encompassing Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. Unfortunately, religious minorities across this region face significant violence and discrimination. This session features speakers from religious minority communities from across South Asia sharing their experiences and goals for advancing human rights for all religious communities. Join us for a conversation on how we can move beyond the religious nationalism that dominates South Asia to a vision of pluralism and flourishing for all religious communities in the region.
